With the Boston basketball scene booming this year with big names such as Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce on the pro-level and young phenoms Alex Oriahki and Jamal Coombs (UConn Commits) on the high school level it was only a matter of time before the 9th graders in the New England area—or in this case, the northeast—had a chance to showcase their skills and talents. BRIDGEWATER, Mass. This past weekend, young players from the northeast region came together for the New England Regional Junior Phenom Camp sponsored by Adidas. Who Knew that the adidas jr. Phenom would take over basketball the way it's doing it. All over the country these regional and national camps are doing it up with talent on the court but giving these boys and girls life lessons off the court. I recently attended the New England Adidas jr. Phenom camp and it was very exciting and I'll be the first to say it Our basketball here in the USA will have no more problems winning the gold medal just give us a few more years.
